The Algae Blenny (Salarias fasciatus), also known as the Lawnmower Blenny, is coral and invertebrate safe. They have fascinating personalities and will provide endless entertainment. Algae Blennies will perch on rocks, hide in caves, and skip around the aquarium rasping microalgae off most surfaces. Algae Blennies are peaceful to most fish except those of similar shape. Do not keep two Algae Blennies together, unless they are paired. This fish requires a 30+ gallon aquarium and should be fed spirulina, herbivore frozen foods, algae sheets, and other popular mixes like Rods or LRS. Max size is roughly 5".
