The most common Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus seticornis) comes from the Caribbean and usually grow to around 4”-6” in home aquariums.

It is a hardy, long-lived invertebrate, that can be housed in the reef aquarium with caution. This crab has been known to attack crustaceans such as Banded Coral Shrimp, Hermit Crabs, Sexy Shrimp and may even attack small slow moving fish. All crabs are opportunistic feeders. Arrows usually eat tube worm/feather dusters and sometimes smaller coral polyps. Arrow Crabs may provide the beneficial service of eating smaller Bristle Worms. It will accept almost all meaty, flake and wafer foods.
