The Longnose Hawk (Oxycirrhites typus) is a mostly peaceful, hardy fish that should be housed in a 30+ gallon tank with plenty of rock work to perch on and hide in. They will not nip at corals, but will eat small invertebrates like Sexy Shrimp, crabs, and small Peppermints, along with small fish. Their diet should consist of mysis and brine shrimp, pellet, and other prepared foods. These fish reach a maximum size of roughly 5".
